A one-hour interactive multimedia presentation focusing on the highly acclaimed book ANNIVERSARY STRAT will take place at Plymouth Central Library on 10th October 2019. A couple of Fender Stratocaster electric guitars from the book will be on show, and some signed limited first edition books will be available. Besides covering the background to the project, the author will share some Fender guitar and people tales with the audience (including some fascinating facts about the talented master guitar builders who work at the Fender Custom Shop in California). Gary will also talk about the challenges he faced during the five years he spent researching, interviewing, traveling internationally, writing, and then finally self-publishing his book, as well as recalling some of his most memorable travel experiences. At the end of the presentation the audience will be able to ask questions and meet the author.
