It's been some time since I last posted in this blog, but I thought it was time to highlight the fact that there is now a limited stock of ANNIVERSARY STRAT books available.
I have never promoted the book hard and never will do as long as a few copies still remain. But I do want as many guitar-mad Fender Stratocaster and Fender Custom Shop fans out there as possible to get hold of a book before they are all gone. The signed and numbered limited edition run of 1,954 books (the Strat launched in 1954 of course) will not be repeated or reprinted, so if you or anyone you know would like a copy I suggest you go to the Buy a Book page and order your personal copy without delay.
I have held back a few low or interesting numbered books that are also available. So if you are interested in any of those email me and I'll let you know what numbers are currently available for a small premium over the regular price of £30. As I say there are still some regular copies available for sale at the moment, and the numbers of those vary across the range and of course under the circumstances many will be late numbers.
Don't forget the books isn't just about Fender's Anniversary model Stratocaster guitars, it also incorporates 25 mini-biographies which share the personal stories of the past and present Fender Custom Shop master builders, and the master pickup winders Abby Ybarra and Josefina Campos.
